The core rule

Transcribe only recordings you have the right to use: your own recordings, or recordings whose owner allows it. Do not use the results to break the law or to harm other people.

Prohibited uses

• Transcribing films, audiobooks, podcasts, or other works to copy, share, or sell their text in breach of their owners' rights.
• Transcribing a conversation that was recorded without the consent the law requires.
• Using transcripts to harass, threaten, or expose other people.
• Attempting to disrupt the Service or the systems that deliver it.
